Echoes in The Present | Curated Section Film | Frieze London and Masters 2025

During our time at @friezeofficial for Frieze London and Masters this year, we were particularly drawn to the “Echoes in The Present” section curated by #DrJarehDas. As an African, this section resonated deeply with me, uncovering histories and connections between Brazil and West Africa that aren’t widely known, and exploring shared legacies across continents.

This section stood out as one of the most personal and enlightening experiences at Frieze, thanks to the vision of #DrJarehDas and the incredible artists and galleries presenting their work.
